Our favourite faceless super-soldier Master Chief returns to our screens once again with the Halo 5 Blue Team Opening Cinematic.

Microsoft and 343 Studios recently revealed the trailer, with the Blue Team led my Master Chief boarding a derelict Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) research facility with the task of ensuring its content doesn’t fall into the hands of a renegade faction of Covenant zealots.

Launching on October 27th 2015 exclusively for Xbox One, Halo 5: Guardians will introduce Spartan Locke, a new playable character seen in the live-action series Halo: Nightfall, whose task is to locate the missing Master Chief after colony worlds are unexpectedly attacked, and solve a mystery that threatens the fate of the galaxy.

Players will be able to play as both Master Chief and Spartan Locke throughout the game that takes place on three new worlds, with the options to play either solo with AI teammates, or with friends in 4-player cooperative mode.

You can expect to encounter Spartans, Covenant and Forerunners as well as a host of new maps and objectives.
