Following the success of their KickStarter campaign in February of last year, Joar Jakobsson and James Primate have released a video of alpha footage from their upcoming indie platformer, Rain World.

Set in “the ruins of an ancient alien civilisation”, players sneak through decrepit urban environments as a desperately cute “slugcat”, searching the industrial wasteland for enough food to survive hibernation.

The video shows off the level and enemy design in Rain World, which will also include co-op and four player competitive play, as well as a single player mode.

Rain World was due to be out on PC and Mac at the end of 2014, but there’s still no official release date.
