Naughty Dog announced that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be getting a single player expansion for the first time in the third-person action game series, and they have explained the reason behind this plan.

At the GameStop Expo last week, Arne Meyer from Naughty Dog stated that there was a very positive reception to the single player DLC for The Last of Us—Left Behind—which made them want to do it again.

It worked really well for us for The Last of Us,” Meyer explained. “We thought we could put together a really great piece of content as well [for Uncharted 4].

They had not found the proper way to make DLC for the Uncharted games until now, with the experience gained from the DLC for The Last of Us.

The single player DLC will initially be made available through the Uncharted 4: Triple Pack, which will also contain multiplayer content such as rare items.

  1. No, I don’t like it. But I will probably pick it up anyway since I love the series itself.
