My Hero One’s Justice, the fighting game adaptation of the popular shounen anime My Hero Academia, has a new trailer complete with familiar faces, settings, and quirks.
The teaser details the game’s 3D perspective, along with some finishing moves and movesets. The roster looks to involve all major characters from the anime, from Midoryia to smaller characters such as Tsuyu.
In terms of animation, Bandai Namco look to have done a fine job of translating the fast-moving pace of the show to an arena-style fighting game, with characters moving fluidly. The project appears to take on a totally different style than Bandai Namco’s last fighting game, Dragonball FighterZ, which opted for 2D stages as opposed to My Hero‘s more sprawling arenas.
The trailer is embedded below, but before checking it out, be sure to revisit Michael Cripe’s review of FighterZ.
My Hero One’s Justice launches on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One sometime in 2018.
