Japanese publisher Capcom has announced that the company will be releasing a new Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter 4, on the Nintendo 3DS, during a Japanese only Nintendo Direct earlier today. The game is slated to launch on September 14th in Japan and will cost ¥5,990. Moreover producer Ryozo Tsujimoto went on to announce that Capcom and Nintendo would be releasing 2 special edition 3DS XL consoles, seen above, to coincide with the launch of the game.

There is no news about a western release date so Monster Hunter fans outside of Japan had better cross your fingers because import options are limited due to the region locking on the Nintendo 3DS. You can watch the full trailer for the game below.
