Modern Warfare

Infinity Ward and Activision have finally shown off an extended look at the campaign for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The story trailer debuted during Sony’s State of Play presentation yesterday, living up to the marketing so far. Activision has touted a gritty campaign that explores the complex moralities of contemporary war, and the footage hints at that.

Captain Price stars, as the trailer shows the cast of main characters seeking to reclaim chemical weapons from terrorists in the fictional Middle East country of Urzikstan.

Local militia leader Farah Karim also plays a prominent role in assisting Price and his allies.

While Urzikstan is the main location shown in the trailer, Infinity Ward promises that the campaign will also take players to London “and other global locations.”

OnlySP’s Chris Hepburn recently had the opportunity to speak with a developer working on the game, so stay tuned for that interview in the coming days.
