WFS, the team behind the mobile RPG Another Eden, has confirmed that a Switch port is in development and new content is coming to the original mobile version.

With Another Eden reaching its second anniversary, the Western release will be getting new episodes and content for the main story. Moreover, the Japanese version is planned to get a second arc to the newest main story.

When asked by Twinfinite about the previously announced Switch port, WFS confirmed that it is still under development, but the timing is still too early to talk about a Western release or any differences from the mobile version.

WFS added that making a mobile RPG that sways away from the pay-to-play model has done wonders for the game.

Additionally, when asked about the prospects of a sequel, WFS stated that it “would be honored if Another Eden one day joined the ranks of some of the world’s greatest games in the eyes of the players.”

The company wants to focus on the mobile and Switch versions before looking into a PC port or putting Another Eden onto any more consoles. However, WFS loves the idea of having the game playable on all platforms, including a refrigerator, were it possible.
