Alongside a half-dozen new game announcements, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Star Wars: Battlefront and Battlefield: Hardline, Mirror’s Edge sequel has been confirmed by GameTrailers to make an appearance at EA’s World Premiere Event for this year’s E3.

The last official word we heard from EA about Mirror’s Edge was at last year’s E3 in which they officially announced it. Other than that, we heard several rumors from Rocket Chainsaw that Mirror’s Edge has an “open world” and a “deeper system that emphasises speed and fluidity.” It has also been rumored by the same source that it will be released in 2016.

When we hear more information on Mirror’s Edge, we will keep you informed. If you want to stay up-to-date with the latest single player related news, follow our Twitter and like our Facebook page.
