Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has officially revealed via Twitter that save files from the Xbox 360 Edition of Minecraft will be transferable to the Xbox One version when it launches later this year.

While an official release date is yet to be revealed, this is great news for those who put serious time into the Xbox 360 version and are planning to upgrade to the Xbox One version, and hopefully transfers will also be possible between the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. Be sure to stay tuned to OnlySP for further updates on this as they become available.
