A high-level executive has left Microsoft after spending two decades with the company.
Mike Ybarra, the corporate vice president of Xbox announced that he would be leaving after spending 20 years at the compeny.
On Twitter, Ybarra wrote, “It’s been a great ride at Xbox and the future is bright. Thanks to everyone at Team Xbox, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished and I wish you the best. More soon on what’s next for me (super excited)!”
Most importantly I want to thank all of you fellow gamers, and our great fans, for all the support. Keep gaming and I hope to see you online soon!” 2/2 #gamers https://t.co/1eK6p7ppYe

Other prominent Xbox figures such as Phil Spencer and Larry Hryb said their goodbyes to Ybarra on Twitter. Ybarra has not announced where he would be going next, but he should be announcing it in the near future.
Ybarra had caught some heat defending Anthem earlier this year. This is also not the only high profile departure from Xbox recently, as Tim Longo, the creative director for Halo Infinite, left 343 Industries back in August.
