Following the spiritual successor to Mega Man’s delay to 2016, announced in August, a new release date for Mighty No. 9 has been announced as February 9, 2016 at TwitchCon 2015.

Initially, developer Comcept stated Mighty No. 9 was planned for an April 2015 release date from its Kickstarter campaign, however bugs and problems regarding the game’s online features caused the game to be continuously delayed.

Mighty No. 9, a 2D action platformer, is planned to be released for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation Vita and 3DS. The slated release date for the platforms other than the digital Vita and 3DS versions is now February 9, 2016 in North America, and February 12, 2016 in the rest of the world.
