Senua's Saga: Hellblade II

Microsoft has unveiled a new project for its freshly named Xbox Series X next-generation console, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

As the title suggests, the game is a sequel to the highly acclaimed Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and is once again being developed by Ninja Theory, which is also working on the multiplayer-focussed Bleeding Edge.

The trailer revealed little beyond a new facepaint design for protagonist Senua and a continuation of the Norse theme, including the presence of what appear to more gods.

However, Phil Spencer, who debuted the title at The Game Awards, provided no further details, beyond that it is currently in early development. As such, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will likely not be available at the Xbox Series X’s launch during the holiday season 2020.
