It looks increasingly possible that the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will release for next-gen consoles, but what about the PC? Surely there are a few PC gamers out there who enjoy third-person sneaking, or at the very least want to push their rig’s capabilities with the game. Well, good news. According to a recent job listing, a PC version is planned.

Via Gamasutra, Kojima Productions recently posted a job opening for Level Designer. However, in the description of that listing, the following was also written:

“Kojima Productions will be returning to the GDC Career Pavilion (March 6th – 9th) to search for skillful engineers, artists, and game creators including:
・Project engineers for the latest Metal Gear Solid targeted for high-end consoles and PC
・Engineers to help develop next-gen game engine technology for use with the ‘FOX Engine.'”

Keep in mind that it says “targeted,” which means a PC port isn’t confirmed yet, but this is still a sign of good things to come for the PC crowd. believe it or not, the first two Metal Gear Solid titles actually had PC ports, so there’s probably a PC audience for this series. The planned PC port for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is also indication that Konami is looking favorably at the PC game market.
