Metro: Last Light publisher Deep Silver announced today that the game’s Tower Pack DLC will be available on Steam, Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on Sept. 3 and will cost $4.99. The Steam and Xbox dates are worldwide, but non-North American PlayStation players will have to wait one more day until Sept. 4 for the pack to drop.

The DLC is the second of four planned bonus packs for the post-apocalyptic FPS. The first, the Faction Pack, released back in July and included three new single-player missions starring different protagonists. The Developer Pack and Chronicles Pack do not have a release date as of yet. All of these DLC packs are included in the Metro: Last Light Season Pass.

The new Tower Pack introduces a new challenge to Metro fans. Players make their way through wave after wave of enemies as they climb a tower in a combat simulator program. This arcade-style gameplay comes with global leaderboards to track the most successful tower challengers.

The announcement also came with a series of new screens from the DLC pack, so make sure to check out the gallery below as well.[nggallery id=74]
