4A games have just released several new screenshots for metro: Last Light on their Facebook page.

The five new screenshots, seen below, depict the world of Metro in a place we rarely see; above ground. The environments look truly beautiful, and it’s easy to see why 4A games are calling this the best-looking game ever. Interestingly, it’s no longer winter like it was in previous screenshots. Time to start eating the speculation soup, people!

Metro: Last Light comes out of the tunnel in early 2013 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Make sure to check out an upcoming exclusive interview with the devs!
