Almost two years on from its announcement, and little more than a month away from release, MediEvil has officially gone gold.

Developer Other Ocean Interactive took to Twitter to make the announcement. The milestone means that the game is now ready to be pressed to disc ahead of shipping.

Ten minutes of direct feed footage of the opening level of the game emerged from the Tokyo Game Show recently:

MediEvil is a remake of the original 1998 PlayStation game. The title will launch on October 25, 2019, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
