It’s big PC gaming news that the Steam Summer Sale is on this July, but if you’re think everyone’s other “favorite” DRM, EA Origin, is left out in the discount dark, think again. At 10AM Pacific, GameFly dropped the price of PC download of the Mass Effect Trilogy from $39.99 to $19.99 – a solid 50% savings… but as the ghost of Billy Mayes would say, “But wait, there’s more.” GameFly also has a 20% off PC download coupon code, and that drops the price even further.

GameFly actually has five EA Origin bundles discounted up to 75%, the ME Trilogy being only one of them. Add in the 20% off coupon code (which discounts the reduced price 20%) and you’re getting a total discount of 80% off the MSRP. That’s not too shabby.

The Mass Effect Trilogy, or any of the EA bundles for that matter, require the Origin DRM.
