Studio Director at Bioware Montreal, Yanick Roy has been revealing a few new details on Mass Effect: Andromeda following the release of the first trailer for the game.

According to Roy, the trailer was all in-engine using the latest version of Frostbite. Roy even goes as far as to acknowledge that it’s hard to believe the footage was in-engine, “but it’s true”.

There’s also quite a few details in the Mass Effect trailer according to Roy as he encourages viewers to watch the trailer more than once to catch all that’s in there. IGN is usually pretty good at picking up those details with their Rewind videos so you’ll want to keep an eye out for that video.

Some fans of the Mass Effect series were also apparently worried the game would be changing to a first person viewpoint, but Roy says that’s not the case and Mass Effect will say third person.

We’ll have more details on Mass Effect all week so stay tuned to OnlySP by following us on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest E3 2015 coverage.
