Memories of Mars, a first-person survival game set on the red planet, just received a new developer diary detailing what single players have to look forward to when the game comes to Early Access.
The single-player experience video is the sixth update posted from developer Limbic Entertainment and is the answer for those fans who were concerned Memories of Mars would solely focus on multiplayer gameplay.
Random events, such as meteor crashes, will offer a dynamic experience even for those who choose to play on their own. Some aspects of solo play will even affect the moment-to-moment gameplay due to the lack of teammate help found in multiplayer. This change means scouting out an area and planning out a course of action before going in guns blazing is not only encouraged, but, in some cases, necessary.
Enemy AI is also built for a single-player experience, as players will learn that the life on Mars can require tactical thinking.
Limbic says it will have more to share on player progression systems and the game in general in the future, so for more updates on Memories of Mars, be sure to follow OnlySP on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
