Mario Kart 8 LABO

Nintendo is continuing to show its support for its peripherals by revealing an update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, making it LABO compatible.

LABO hit the market on April 27, and, according to Nintendo, opened with “solid” sales. However, six days ago, Nintendo stated that it did not feel its cardboard peripheral had reached its full potential yet, and this newest Mario Kart update seems to be proof of Nintendo’s feelings.

The update makes the game compatible with the Toy-con Motorbike available with the Variety Kit. Check out the video of Mario Kart LABO in all of its cardboard action below.

Until now, LABO has only been compatible with specific games that were made for the peripheral. This update without a doubt opens the doors of possibilities for the peripheral.

For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
