The development team behind the upcoming PC first-person horror exploration game Routine, Lunar Software, have confirmed that the game is still in development and it is going smoothly.

Responding to a fan on Twitter wondering what was happening with their first game since its last update, Lunar Software responded with:

Nothing major to report on, we have our heads down working as fast as we can, everything is going super well though!

Routine is a horror game developed on Unreal Engine 3, announced in 2012. Players assume the role of a character exploring an abandoned Moon Base, interacting with objects to guide their way through the desolate environment that is designed to evoke the 80’s.

The game will have randomized environment hazards for players to avoid, with permanent death which will makes the situation all the more precarious, as players attempt to be as cautious as possible.

Does Routine have potential in a world where Alien Isolation and Soma have been released? Let us know in the comments section below, and be sure to follow OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for more news.

Routine is set for an undetermined release date for the PC.
