We recently interviewed the team at Sirenum about their upcoming Unreal Engine 4 action-adventure title, The Lost Pisces, and were instantly intrigued by the concept and look of the game. If you missed the interview, you should certainly check it out by following the link. If you’ve been looking for something new and unique in the gaming world, this game might be what you’re looking for.
Sirenum has announced the date for their Kickstarter to launch which will be this Friday, February 20th. The development team will be looking to raise around $184,000 to fund the project for release on PC. The stretch goals have also been teased on their website, which lists an Xbox One version of the game at $240,000. The Lost Pisces will utilize the Kinect on PC to interact with their AI system that’s being developed.
Pisces is a character I think you’ll fall in love with. Because unlike other NPCs (non-player characters), she will create a memory of her experiences with you. She’ll see you smile (with the Kinect). She’ll see confusion. She’ll see frustration. She will learn from you in her own way, and in doing so, I hope she’ll become someone to you. Not just some-thing. – Daniel Rutkowski. Producer of The Lost Pisces
You can read more about that in our exclusive interview linked above.
The development team is also currently looking into bringing the game to the PS4 as well, but have not added it as an official stretch goal as of yet.
We’ll be looking into the submission process for PS4 this week! There’s plenty of requests so it’s worth looking at. May add as stretch goal
