Development studio Playdead have taken to the PlayStation Blog to confirm a release date for the PlayStation Vita port of their critically acclaimed 2010 indie title, Limbo. Dino Patti, the founder of Playdead, revealed that the game would release as a downloadable title on the PlayStation Network on June 4th in North America and June 5th in Europe, that’s next Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Patti also announced that the game would cost £9.99, €12.99 or $14.99 depending on your local currency.

Limbo released on the PlayStation 3 in July 2011 and currently boasts a Metacritic score of 90. Limbo joins an illustrious group of indie titles to release on the PlayStation Vita in recent times with Terraria, Thomas Was Alone and A Virus Named Tom among some of the bigger names.
