The second trailer shows Mafayu Fujii, a highly educated lawyer from a wealthy family with a strong sense of justice. She is voiced by Cherami Leigh, and the voice actor expressed her excitement playing a strong and intelligent female character, saying that “it was fun to play a lawyer. It was always a dream of mine.” Additionally, she mentioned having fun moments being the romantic lead to Yagami as well, contributing to Fujii’s multi-dimensional characterization. Leigh also noted how during recording sessions she “got lost in the story and forgot about how long the session was.”
