Wasteland 3, inXile Entertainment

Following Microsoft’s surprise acquisition of inXile Entertainment, the developer has responded positively online, whilst communicating that its work will stay in the RPG lane.

In a series of tweets, inXile stated that it will still be the same company focused on RPG games, albeit with more economic freedom, but hinted that there is a “chance for anything”.

Generally-speaking, the developer seemed excited following the news, with the main Twitter page for inXile posting and replying with positive messages all day.

inXile CEO Brian Fargo took to YouTube in a positive message, too, with the industry veteran oozing excitement over the future of single-player games on Xbox.

inXile Entertainment appears to be genuinely excited to be joining Microsoft, especially with Obsidian on board.
