Into the Stars is currently open to Early Access on Steam, but from March 4 will release in full to all players.

The open-world space survival simulator was successfully kickstarted roughly a year ago and has been in Early Access since July 2015. Built with Unreal Engine 4, players will search the huge star system on offer in hope for a new home for humanity, where each journey requires a change of crew along with outfitting your ship for specific roles.

LA-based studio Fugitive Games are behind Into the Stars, who are made up of former DICE and Spark Unlimited employees with titles such as Lost Planet and Battlefield behind them, with music composed by the minds behind the Mass Effect score.

Into the Stars will officially launch on March 4 at $19.99, but you can get 33% off the Early Access price in these short weeks leading up to release. For a much deeper insight into what you can expect from the game, check out our hands-on preview from last year.
