Praxis Games has announced that its upcoming strategy game Interstellar Space: Genesis will be released next month.

Adam Solo and MalRey of Praxis Games announced that, although the developer previously had an expected release date of the second quarter of 2019, the game has been delayed and will be released in July 2019.

The specific date in July is yet to be revealed.

Interstellar Space: Genesis is a turn-based 4X strategy game wherein the player must build an empire in space. The game’s store page on Steam promises that the player will “become the ruler of the Galaxy” while they “explore the wonders of space, colonize new worlds, and expand your empire across the stars.”

The game features a breadth of customisation options; the player will be able to design their ships for battle, customise their own races, hire and manage leaders with abilities, and develop planets to fit their growing empire.

The game will be released on PC via Steam. The developer is aiming for releases on Mac and Linux eventually.

His favourite games are those with deep and captivating narratives: while it would take far too long to list them all, some include L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption (and its sequel), Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Last of Us, and the Uncharted series.
