In a collaborative effort, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have released an Injustice 2 trailer that provides an overview of every aspect of the game.

The trailer has been released precisely a week before Injustice 2’s release in North America. Featuring a closer look at the game’s Story Mode and a variety of Super Hero and Super-Villain alliances. The Dark Knight and Gorilla Grodd are two characters leading various factions, and independent characters like Supergirl and Swamp Thing also make an appearance. Watch the trailer below:

The trailer also highlights the new social experience within Injustice 2. Players will be able to create and join guilds of up to fifty people in an effort to create unlikely Super Hero and Super-Villain teams. Guild members will be able to share gear between each other to help build the ultimate Super Team. Cooperative daily and weekly challenges exclusive to guilds will also be available for players to earn gear and other rewards. Completing these challenges increases guilds’ and players’ chances of climbing the worldwide leaderboards.

The video offers a deeper look at the heavily-anticipated Gear System, a sneak peek at Multiverse mode, and the Injustice 2 mobile experience releasing on May 11, 2017.

Injustice 2 is being developed by NetherRealm Studios and will feature thirty-eight playable characters, thirty-two of which have already been revealed. One of those revealed characters is Sub-Zero, the ice-cold leader of the Lin Kuei clan in the famous Mortal Kombat series, which NetherRealm Studios also develops.

Injustice 2 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in North America on May 16, 2017. The game will release in Australia and Europe on May 17, 2017 and May 19, 2017 respectively.
