Yesterday 4A Games teased an announcement regarding Metro: Redux, and while it’s not exactly what we were hoping for, it’s a cool announcement none the less.

4A Games have released free trials for both Metro: 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux that give players access to about 1/3rd of the game for free.

The Metro 2033 Redux Trial includes the first eight Chapters up to ‘Dead City.’ The Metro: Last Light Redux Trial includes nine Chapters up to ‘Theatre’. In each case, the Trial version represents about one-third of the total game. Metro Redux contains all of the Metro franchise content ever released in one ultimate package.

So, if you’ve never played the Metro games, now you have no reason not to. Currently the free trials are only available on the Xbox One, but will soon be available on the PS4 in the US. The free trials are currently available on the European PSN store.

Stay tuned to OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for further updates regarding Metro: Redux and 4A Games’ next project.
