I think most people would agree that Bioshock is an absolute masterpiece of a game. however, let’s face it; it’s starting to look quite dated at this point. Why not take a look at how much more beautiful the game could look if it was made with what is quite possibly the most cutting-edge graphics technology available now?

The images, seen below, represent how Irrational games’ 2007 classic Bioshock would like if it were rendered within Crytek’s latest engine, CryEngine 3. Scott Homer, an artist at Crytek and a massive fan of the game, made the images himself as a sort of tribute to the game. Not much needs to be said about them; they’re absolutely stunning and you really need to see them for yourself.
