Developer Fusty Game and publisher The Sidekicks have revealed the fast-paced launch trailer for parkour-adventure game Hover: Revolt of Gamers.
Backed by one of the original electronica songs from the game’s soundtrack, the video spotlights the fast-paced action and eye-catching environments that make the game stand out among the crowded field of indie games. The trailer also outlines the multitude of activities that players will get to experience while playing through the game’s 90+ missions, including racing, sneaking, and sabotage, as well as the ability to play in both first-person or third-person, depending on the player’s preferences.
Hover: Revolt of Gamers takes place in a colourful, dystopian world where a shady governmental force known as The Authority has banned gaming and a raft of other leisure activities. In response, players take control of the Gamers, a rebel group aiming to overcome the oppressive regime.
The project is the first PC effort from Fusty Game, a small team housed within Edge of Eternity developer Midgar Studio. Taking to Kickstarter back in 2014, the project raised more than $100,000 before later entering the Steam Early Access program, where development has continued openly for the last two years.
Hover: Revolt of Gamers is available today on PC, with console versions expected to follow later this year. OnlySP’s review of the title will be available in the coming days.
