A new trailer has been released for Homefront: The Revolution that reveals more details about the game’s story. According to details from developer Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios, Homefront: The Revolution will follow new Resistance recruit, Ethan Brady, as he fights the invading force of the Korean People’s Army (KPA).
Homefront: The Revolution takes place in an alternate reality where, in the year 2029, the KPA has successfully invaded the United States. The game will follow Brady and the Resistance in their fight against the oppressive KPA four years after the initial invasion in the occupied city of Philidelphia.
A central plot point in the game will see Brady struggle to save Benjamin Walker, the “Voice of Freedom,” a man who can inspire people to rise up against the KPA. Walker was previously the main protagonist in the Homefront novel, Voice of Freedom.
The game’s new trailer shows plenty of gritty action, explosions, and gun fights between the Resistance and the KPA as they fight through multiple locales.
Homefront: The Revolution releases on May 17 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
