If you were hoping for a meatier campaign in the sequel to the original Homefront, Deep Silver is looking to provide.

In a press release sent out yesterday to announce the game’s cooperative “Resistance Mode”, Deep Silver also included details on the game’s single player campaign. While no story details were included, we did find out the game will last players around “30+” hours, according to the press release.

Homefront: The Revolution is an open world game, however, and the press release didn’t exactly specify if the main story would take that long to complete, or if that included side missions and all the other mumbo jumbo open world games usually have to offer.

Here’s the full quote:

“Homefront: The Revolution is this team’s most ambitious project yet,” said Hasit Zala, game director at Dambuster Studios. “In addition to our epic 30-plus hour single-player campaign, we expect to launch Resistance Mode with 12 Missions, packed with re-playability, and hope to release another 20 Missions within the first year. To ensure our community can always play together, all Resistance Mode Missions will be free to download.”

We’re working on trying to line up an interview with Dambuster Studios to learn more about the game’s single player campaign. Stay tuned to OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for further updates on Homefront: The Revolution and everything else single player related.
