In a press release sent out today, Deep Silver has formally announced their new development studio in Nottingham, UK, Deep Silver Dambuster Studios.

Dambuster, which is lead by Hasit Zala, is continuing to develop Homefront: The Revolution, which has shifted hands quite a few times now. Originally scheduled to arrive in 2015, Homefront: The Revolution is now set to release in 2016 to provide the development team, “every opportunity to turn Homefront: The Revolution into a best-selling title.”

The press release made it clear that we will hear more about Homefront: The Revolution this year as development is continuing at “full speed”. So, for those of you worried that Homefront would become vaporware, you should push those worries aside for now.

We’ll be sure to continue bringing you all the latest on Homefront: The Revolution so don’t forget to follow OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for instant updates.

  1. With SteamOS support, I guess.

  2. Shame, but as long as it’s good it doesn’t matter I guess, hope they keep the open world/rpg plans and it’s not just a shallow arcade shooter.
