David Wehle, the developer of Home is Where One Starts, has just released the official trailer for his next game called, The First Tree.

The First Tree follows the story of, “a fox trying to find her missing family, and a young couple dealing with a tragedy in theirs. Players take control of the fox on a poignant and beautiful journey that crescendos at the source of life, and perhaps results in the understanding of death. Along the way, players uncover artifacts and stories from the young couple’s life as they too become intertwined in the fox’s journey towards The First Tree.”

Much like the Home is Where One Starts (read our review here), The First Tree will be a shorter experience. According to the official website for the game, you can expect to spend around one to two hours in the world and the price will reflect that.

The first trailer for the game can be found just below, and I have to say it’s looking quite good. Let us know what you think of the The First Tree in the comments section and stay tuned for further updates on the game as we have them by following OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter.

The First Tree is due out on the PC and Mac in early 2017.
