More bad news for No Man’s Sky and Joe Danger developer Hello Games this morning, as their insurance provider has revealed they are not covered for flood damage. According to the official Twitter feed, “if you are in a flood risk zone, you are not insured for flooding.” This certainly doesn’t sound good for their upcoming games or for the business itself. Hopefully they have backups of everything somewhere! Some updated Twitter posts and the original story are below.

Sadly, it’s not going to be a good Christmas this year for Joe Danger developer, Hello Games, as according to the studio’s Twitter feed, their offices have been “totally flooded.”

On Christmas Eve,  scattered flooding and torrential rain hit across the United Kingdom. Guildford UK, the location of  Hello Games who developed Joe Danger and are working on the highly anticipated upcoming game No Man’s Sky, was among the places hit. There’s no word yet on if any of the data from No Man’s Sky was lost but based on the Twitter updates so far, it’s not looking good. We will keep an eye on this story as it develops and we here at OnlySP hope everyone affected by the flooding manage to have a safe and happy Christmas.
