Ninja Theory’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is finally being ported to Xbox One, with an April 11 release date.

Observant players found the game on the Microsoft Store before Ninja Theory, who developed the title, tweeted out that a port is coming very soon:

The team has also revealed that three enhanced options will be available on the Xbox One X. Enhanced Visuals mode increases the volume of effects and quality of the image, High Framerate mode locks the game to 60 frames per second, and High Resolution mode allows the title to employ dynamic resolutions up to 4K.

The dark action adventure blew critics away last year, especially OnlySP’s Adam Speight, but the title was PC and PlayStation 4 only. Hellblade appeared to be another title that Xbox players had missed out on, but thankfully not permanently.

Originally releasing in August last year, Hellblade was the first title Ninja Theory developed independently, with the project being the studio’s most critically appraised and creatively ambitious work to date. For those who do not know, Hellblade‘s narrative marries Norse mythology with mental illness and psychological horror and is a shining example of what can be achieved when developers go independent.
