Sad news for the industry today. Normand Corbeil, TV, movie, and video game composer – notably working with Quantic Dream’s Heavy Rain and the upcoming Beyond: Two Souls – passed away from pancreatic cancer on Friday.

The post by Orly83, who is believed to be his son Laurent Bastien Corbeil, on Cancer Forums states: “My father, Normand Corbeil, 56, passed away today at 2:56 PM. He was a great composer and an amazing dad… I am in shock.”

Polygon are reporting that Normand Corbeil had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on August 15, 2012, according to an earlier post by Orly83.
