While OnlySP reports on single player news, we thought it was still appropriate to report the release of these images, because they are the first in-game screenshots of Halo 5: Guardians.
The screenshots were released by 343 Industries in celebration of the release tomorrow of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The collection will include access to the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta on December 27th, 2014 and runs through January 18th, 2015.
HalofFest will be showing off the first official gameplay videos of the beta in action tonight in a series of multiplayer matches, along with the first episode of Halo: Nightfall, a series of episodes that follows Agent Locke.
Some leaked clips were also posted online yesterday showing off the first little snippets of gameplay that set the Halo community ablaze as they based their judgments off little more than 25 seconds of footage. Josh Holmes took to Twitter to ease some of the communities concerns by confirming the following gameplay details along with the return of the descoping feature that was featured in previous Halo games.
No penalty to hip fire in H5, no movement penalty when scoping/zooming, no flinch. Tune in for the beta gameplay reveal at #HaloFest Monday.
