Half Life: Alyx

Valve has confirmed that Half-Life: Alyx has an accessibility mode to allow more players to experience the game.

According to developer Greg Coomer, the mode will allow users to play the entire game with just one hand. Speaking to Tested earlier this year, he explained that Valve was looking to include the option in the future. However, recent videos seem to show that the option is already in the title.

A wide array of disabilities can gaming difficult. The move will please those who have trouble using traditional gamepads or two individual VR controllers at once.

Half-Life: Alyx is scheduled to launch for PC via Steam on March 23, 2020, as a VR exclusive game.
