Tequila Works has released its launch trailer for GYLT, the third-person puzzle adventure title that will release exclusively on Stadia.

GYLT‘s launch trailer takes the protagonist through a journey where she attempts to find a seven-year-old child, equipped with just a flashlight. Spotting the child in the window of a nearby house, she begins her journey through a city inhabited by some truly unique and scary creatures.

In an earlier article from OnlySP, the “delicate horror” of GYLT was explained, which Tequila Works described as its way of combining colorful expression and horror themes.

Rather than capitalizing on jump scares, GYLT‘s spooky presentation is reminiscent of The Nightmare Before Christmas—showing monstrous creatures with wide mouths, upside-down heads, rows of sharp teeth, and the like.

As stated on its official website, GYLT is “set in a creepy and melancholic world,” featuring an “eerie story, mixing fantasy and reality in a surrealist place where your nightmares become reality.”

GYLT will release alongside the Stadia on November 19, exclusive to Google’s new cloud platform.
