Chronos will release alongside the Oculus Rift on March 28, but so far we’ve seen very little of the game in action. Some new gameplay footage has been released today showing off a combat section of the game.

Keep in mind that’s it’s challenging to accurately show off VR exclusive games in action through a video rather than seeing the game for yourself. Chronos is played from a third person view, just like Insomniac’s upcoming adventure game, Edge of Nowhere.

We spoke to Gunfire Games all about Chronos and their development studio a few months ago in a in-depth feature interview. You can read it by following the link.

Check out the newly released gameplay footage for Chronos just below and be sure to let us know what you think of it in the comments section. Outlets that have previewed the game are calling it a Resident Evil and Dark Souls mashup. Sounds pretty interesting if you ask me.

Stay tuned to OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for further updates regarding Chronos as it’s March 28 release date approaches.
