Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is arguably the pinnacle of the series during the last console generation, selling a whopping 27.5 million copies worldwide. Now, it is getting re-released over the PlayStation Network, in the form of a PS2 classic.

PlayStation have confirmed that the PS2 Classic version of GTA: San Andreas will be released on Tuesday the 11th of December in North America. No price is mentioned, but other PS2 Classics are currently priced at $9.99, so that seems the likely option.

What do you think, readers? Will you be picking this up over PSN when it’s released on Tuesday?
