Spotted originally on CVG, it appears that retailer Newegg has listed Gran Turismo 6 for the PlayStation 3. The game was originally announced back in 2010 and is well in development according to Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi when he confirmed to Autoweek, 3 years ago in an interview. When asked about that development he explained:

Can you give us any idea on what we can expect for GT6?

It’s not something that we can talk that lightly on. It took 2,000 days to get all the ideas that went into GT5. It’s just too early to be talking about GT6.

There hasn’t been much news since on the title until this listing. Is it possible Sony is working on a reveal for the game? It is interesting to note that the console of choice for GT6 is still the PlayStation 3 considering Sony is spear heading towards the launch of the PlayStation 4 this Fall. It will be curious to see if the game will eventually release on PlayStation 4 if it is being developed for that console at all. Also, a release date was spotted for the game courtesy of Softpedia for November 28th, 2013.
