Gone Home Game

It popped up as one of our most anticipated titles for 2013 with it’s promise of a deep single player experience and 90’s suburban style. Today Fullbright have released a new trailer showing off the 90’s Riot Grrrl interests of the inhabitants of the house, as well as a handful of rather gorgeously detailed screenshots.

Six authentic 90’s tracks from Heavens to Betsy and Bratmobile have been included in Gone Home, with the feminist punk songs revealing the roiling core of teen antipathy behind the character of Samantha Greenbriar.

It’s great to see Fullbright are (so far) keeping to their promise of delivering a complex narrative through subtle background details. 90’s music! Pulp Fiction! CRT! Zines! All that 90’s ephemera is tickling my nostalgia bone. The new trailer is below, and full of teenage tension. New screenshots are also below.
