PC gamers: If you’ve been waiting on bated breath for the Steam Summer Sale, GOG.com has a little appetizer to get you started before the feast. Today GOG (formerly Good Old Games) launched their “2013 #NoDRM Summer Sale” with discounts on over 500 DRM-free PC download games. On top of that a round of daily deals will be launched every 24 hours on their homepage.

Today they started the sale out with a bang by making the hack-n-slash actino RPG Torchlight absolutely free (normally a $15 game).

There’s plenty of other single player titles worth picking up too, like FTL: Faster Than Light for $4.99 (normally $10), The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for $9.99 (normally $20), and Theme Hospital for $2.99 (normally $6).

The GOG Summer Sale will run through July 5th. All of the 500 games on sale are 50% off, while the daily rotated deals are discounted more than 50%.
