Another day, another remastered title.

Sony Santa Monica has just announced that a remastered version of God of War 3 will be coming to the PS4 this Summer. Details were light and just how “remastered” the game will be, but the studio is hoping to deliver 1080p visuals and 60fps, as expected with remastered titles.

Along with the visual upgrades, a new photo mode has also been added to the game.

You can check out the reveal trailer along with the first remastered screens from the game just below. God of War 3 Remastered will be releasing on the PS4 on July 14th, 2015.

  1. I’m sure I don’t know all the complexities of why these things happen. One thing is certain, the more gamers shell out for remastered titles the less likely it will be that future consoles will offer backwards compatibility. Why give gamers the option to play their existing library of games when they will buy them again with nicer graphics.
