Sirenum Digital have announced that their upcoming sci-fi title The Lost Pisces will have a gameplay reveal coinciding with the launch of an Indiegogo campaign on October 31st.

Taking inspiration from Han Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid, the game explores the story of the titular Pisces, a synthetic creature searching for a soul in a world dominated by giant machine-gods and icy waters.

The dark reimagining of the classic story looks to challenge players with a combination of tower-defense strategy and exploration as they look to the artifacts of the Deluge, a once great civilization, to save what remains of the world from the 11 machine-gods.

Powered by the Unreal Engine 4, the game looks to impress and immerse players in this sprawling sci-fi world, from the technology of the fallen empire, to the frosty depths of the planet, and beyond.

Those interested in helping to fund this ambitious and refreshing entry into the genre should look to an Indiegogo campaign launching on Halloween to make a demo that will allow publishers to see the vision of the developers come to life.

A gameplay reveal is also set for the same date, so it will not be much longer until gamers get a chance to see the game in action. Look for the title on Steam Early Access and Xbox One in the near future, and continue to follow the Indiegogo campaign as it launches on the 31st.
