After the subpar clash of the teaser’s Deathstroke and Batman fight, the full length trailer is here to put it all in context.
Batman is doing what he does best until Deathstroke makes his appearance known to the Bat and a brawl atop some shipping crates ensues.
Other Assassin’s join the fray and the centerpiece villain – Black Mask – takes the stage as the orchestrater.
The trailer ends with the news that players will be able to pre-order the game and receive a playable Deathstroke challenge map.
The box-art for Batman: Arkham Origins has also been revealed with a portion of the nine assassins on Batman’s left chest. Frankly it isn’t as graphically striking as the Batman: Arkham City cover but the game has my attention more than the cover.
A look at the release screen shows that Xbox Live, PSN and Nintendo eShop have been announced as platforms. Whether this is a digital release schema or lending credibility to the Arkham Origins multiplayer we’ve heard rumored has yet to be seen.
Batman: Arkham Origins is set to release worldwide on October 25th, 2013 and is set to release on Xbox 360, PC, WiiU, and PlayStation 3.
