God of War Animators Reveal Swordcery

Ex-Santa Monica Studios animators Don Thurakichprempri and Mike Henriet have released new updates for its upcoming independent game Swordcery.

Thurakichprempi and Henriet’s studio Temple Door Games publishes regular updates about the game on Twitter. A recent post showed that Henriet’s movements is used as the animation reference for a character in the game.

Similarly, another post shows that Thurakichprempri is used as a reference for some of the game’s sword-fighting animations.

Swordcery features ten unique sword classes each with differing abilities and weapons to collect. Players will need to utilise all of their swordsmanship skills to combat the different golem-like enemies.

Thurakichprempi and Henriet both worked as animators on Sony Santa Monica’s God of War before founding Temple Door Games last year.
